Michella Watch (ミシェーラ・ウォッチ, Mishēra Wocchi) is the younger sister of Leonardo Watch. She is unable to walk. When visiting Hellsalem's Lot with her family, she lost her eyesight in order to let Leo gain the 'All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods.'

Appearance

Michella is a young girl who appears to be in her teens. She has long, light brown hair tied up in a black ribbon and wears a warm jacket and gloves, a lap blanket over a green dress, and brown boots; however, in Volume 10 ,she wears different clothes. She sits in a wheelchair as a result of her inability to walk.

Personality

Michella cares greatly for her brother, having a strong bond with him since they were kids, and often calls him her "tortoise knight." She is also very brave, allowing her own eyesight to be taken in exchange for her brother to gain sight.

According to Leonardo, she can sometimes get very childish and easily moody. In volume 10, it appears that Michella always jokes about her disability to walk.

Plot

Michella Watch is Leo's younger sister who has been paralyzed since birth. Her parents took her and her brother on a family trip one day to the borders of Hellsalem's Lot in secret hopes that something strange would happen to give her the use of her legs.

Much to their dismay, a giant being of unknown origin (Riga El Menuhyut) appeared and offered her and her brother a choice, that one of them needed to sacrifice their eyesight in order for the other one to see and receive the 'All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods.' Leo, paralyzed in fear of the giant being, said nothing while Michella bravely made the decision to sacrifice her eyesight in order to save Leo. She is now blind though her whereabouts remain a mystery, but it is implied that at the end of the anime that she is with a man near to the mountains, where she and Leo visited sometimes, before the series. Leo's letters to her from Hellsalem's Lot are often read to her while she sits by this mountainside with a lake in front of her; Michella seems pleased when she hears from Leo, and has a small smile on her face.

She reappears in Volume 10 when she calls Leo and visits him in Hellsalem's Lot to announce her engagement with Toby Mcaughlin.
