A Game Between Worlds[]
Ulchelko and two attendants travel to Hellsalem's Lot to play a game against Don Arlelelle Eruca Fulgrouche in order to gain a large supply of nuclear weapons for Russia. At the Don's church, he is greeted by Klaus von Reinherz and is surprised that he knows his name, but blows him off to go inside. Upon realizing that Ulchelko intends to challenge the Don to a Prosfair match, Klaus urges him to reconsider but upon being shot down, he advises Ulchelko to avoid trying to checkmate Fulgrouche. Inside the room, Ulchelko asks for the weapons, which Fulgrouche agrees to give in exchange for a nine-hour game. Ulchelko then requests to have Klaus and K.K. killed so they don't tell anyone he was there. Fulgrouche reluctantly agrees, adding an hour onto the gameplay in exchange. [1][2]
When Ulchelko is defeated, Klaus intervenes on his behalf and the Don concedes, provided Klaus entertain him for ninety-nine hours of non-stop Prosfair. During the course of the game, the Don attempts to weaken Klaus' resolve by revealing one of Ulchelko's requests was for Klaus and K.K's deaths, but Klaus's will remains unshaken.[1][2]
After ninety-nine hours finally passed, an exhausted Klaus is dropped unceremoniously before K.K. and Ulchelko, and Fulgrouche begrudgingly agrees to let Ulchelko go.[1][2]
