The Eternal Nothingness (永遠の虚, Eien no uro)) is the chasm that sits at the very center of Hellsalem's Lot and it leads to the Beyond.

The parts of the city nearest to the chasm are enveloped in a thick fog and have a varying gravity, looking more like the city did during the night of the Great Collapse. Floating right above the chasm, it’s the Yggdrashiad Central Station.
